Program Description:

Ready to dive into the world of woodworking? Whether you're dreaming of building cool furniture or just want to learn how to safely use power tools, this action-packed one-day course is your perfect starting point.

With the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll get hands-on with real tools and machines—yes, you will be running a table saw, miter saw, band saw, and more (safely, of course). You’ll learn the same safety standards used in professional shops, and by the end of the day, you’ll walk away with serious skills and a certification to prove it.

You’ll also build your very own tool caddy to take home!

Learning Objectives:

  • How to safely operate all the key woodworking tools (table saws, band saws, drill presses, and more!)

  • Smart shop habits to keep yourself and others safe

  • Real-world safety protocols and injury prevention tips

  • Shop etiquette

  • You'll get a safety manual to reference along your woodworking journey

  • Earn an official safety certification by mail once you ace the safety test

  • Build your own tool caddy using the machines you learned!

This course is perfect if you’re curious about woodworking, want to build things with your hands, or just love the idea of mastering tools the right way. No experience needed—just bring your energy and get ready to learn some seriously cool skills!
