Job Description:
Cache River Mill & MetalWorks is seeking a skilled and experienced Wood Craftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for woodworking, excellent attention to detail, strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
40 hr workweek, occasional OT
Employees can use the shop on the weekends with permission
Start mid-twenties, cost of living low, no health insurance but there is paid time off
Key Responsibilities:
Woodworking Expertise: Utilize your expertise in woodworking to create high-quality custom wood products, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every detail.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrate superior attention to detail in all woodworking tasks, ensuring the final products meet our high standards of quality.
Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet project deadlines and production schedules while maintaining the highest level of quality in workmanship.
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and readily accessible.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including designers, craftsmen, and project managers, to bring creative visions to life and achieve project goals.
Quality Control: Participate in quality control processes to guarantee the excellence of finished products before they are delivered to clients.
Adaptability: Adapt to new techniques, tools, and materials as needed to enhance skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in woodworking, preferably in a professional or artisanal capacity.
Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Knowledge of various woodworking tools, equipment, and techniques.
Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
